Pulse is a high-end contemporary boutique with 3 locations based in New York. Pulse is the premier designer store in their market, untouchable in selection and brand assortment. Their strength lies not only in their apparel but also their exclusive footwear selection. Many stores have attempted to emulate their concept but have not been able to keep up with Pulse’s continuous introduction of fresh new brands and looks. Pulse has always been a leader in their field and looked upon as trend setters who are not afraid to experiment with new looks and styles for both men & women.
The first Pulse store opened in 1992 in the heart of Greenwich Village. Pulse quickly established itself as a leader of urban & contemporary fashion and young up-and-coming designers. Due to the overwhelming success of the first store, the second store opened in 1995 in Soho.
On October 1, 2009 the first Pulse Cncpt store was introduced in downtown Brooklyn at 358 Livingston Street between Nevins & Flatbush. This location kicked off to an amazing start with a grand opening gala. It has gone on to host some of the most talked-about parties in New York and has quickly established itself as the “ultimate shopping experience” with its combination of exclusive apparel, distinctive sneaker selection and more.
With the overwhelming success of the downtown Brooklyn store, Pulse decided to grow with the "Pulse Cncpt" idea and introduced 2 new locations. With the addition of the second Brooklyn location, Pulse was able to accommodate their large following throughout the borough, enabling the Pulse shopper to reach their favorite spot with ease.
The next obvious choice was Queens with its diverse demographic. By selecting the Jackson Heights area, which is widely considered the most preferred retail corridor of the borough, Pulse was able to fill an enormous void by being the only premier store in its locale. Pulse brings the Queen's customer this much needed "destination shop" for the hottest brands.
Pulse is looking forward to a future of continued growth and expansion.
